About Rob
Rob Larson fell in love with drawing again at the age of sixteen, and was soon walking up and down the streets of Barrington, IL., selling his drawings of the victorian homes. He studied painting at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN under the colorist painter Dale Johnson, who inspired Rob to be an artist with a heart for people. Upon graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Art, Rob interned at the Museum of Contemporary Art Esteban Vicente in Segovia Spain, and painted large abstract paintings that celebrated the grandiose way water reflects light. Painting on a large scale quickly applied itself to painting murals in private homes.
Rob and Julie Larson live and work in Evanston, IL., serving people with disabilities and are excited to apply creative problem solving initiatives to foster community and create independent living options for the most vulnerable among us.
